California Proposition 65
California’s Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn California residents about significant exposures to chemicals that the state has listed as causing cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
How we warn
Where a product is made with materials that commonly contain listed chemicals — for example brass or zinc-alloy parts (lead), PVC or vinyl (DEHP), neoprene (chloroprene), MDF or plywood (formaldehyde) or polycarbonate (bisphenol A) — we show a warning on the product page next to the buy button, and again at checkout.
A warning means the product can expose you to a listed chemical. It does not mean the product is unsafe or that it breaks any safety standard.
